Privacy

PULSE Peek is designed to be local-first. This page explains what data we do (and don’t) collect in plain English.

Summary: no required telemetry, no forced accounts, and license validation is offline.

Website

This site is static and does not include analytics scripts by default. We do not use advertising trackers. Some necessary security cookies may still be used by infrastructure providers. Standard server logs (if any) may include IP address, user agent, and request path.

App

The app runs locally on your Mac. Captured traffic stays on your machine. The app is designed to work offline and does not require an account.

Telemetry

If telemetry exists, it is optional and off by default. If enabled, it should be limited to crash reports or anonymous diagnostics. We aim to keep this transparent and minimal.

Licensing

License keys are validated offline (on-device). The app does not need to “phone home” to check a license.

Commercial use requires a Business license.
Unlicensed installs may show a periodic reminder.

Purchases & billing

Business license purchases are processed by an external payment provider. The provider handles payment details and may issue invoices/receipts. We receive the information needed to deliver your license key and provide support (typically name, email, company, and purchase status).

Cookies

Cloudflare `cf_clearance` — purpose: security/bot challenge protection. Category: strictly necessary.
YouTube embed (`youtube-nocookie.com`) — when you start the video, your browser connects to Google/YouTube services and identifiers may be read/stored according to YouTube/Google policies.
